Every time I read a candidate brochure I see "Community Leader."   Anyone can say that, but are they really living it?Once again actions speak louder than words.  Roger chooses to be a constant figure in his community every day. He spends time with community members at civic clubs, community events, through his profession and his families activities.  He has a true desire to see our community thrive and will work hard to make sure he is doing his part if he is elected. He has never came and went in the community. Once he started volunteering his time and money, he never stopped. He knows this community and the people in it.

Roger and Sherri have a big heart for public service. Sherri worked as a paramedic for several years. Roger and Sherri both are members and have served in the role as President for the Mid-Del Tinker 100 club. This group believes in acknowledging those who go above and beyond in the line of duty. They also help support dependents of firefighters and law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty by helping to pay their families debts. They also provide scholarships to the children of active public servants.

Every year you will find Roger, Sherri and AJ volunteering at several fundraisers that their civic clubs hold. Such items as the flag project, shrimp boil, chamber auctions, golf tournaments to name a few. All proceeds from these events go directly back into the community for our children and elderly.

The following bulletin points can be seen on the brochure that he hands out while knocking doors.
